Our guided hunts start early in the morning after
breakfast, about one hour before sunrise. Our guests are
taken to their stands by our experienced guides and then
picked up between 10:00 am and 11:00 am. After lunch,
around 2:00 pm, the afternoon hunt will begin with our
guides taking the hunters to their stands, and then
returning at dark to pick up the hunters. Our guides
will then assist each hunter, if necessary, with
anything that may be required for retrieving or handling
a kill.
During our hunts, fines will be collected for taking a
button (fawn) buck, a buck under 8-points, and the
illegal taking of any game under NC Wildlife Laws. The
fine for taking a button buck is $50.00, the fine with
taking a buck under 8-points is $250.00, and the fine
for taking any game illegally is $300.00. Our fines
are imposed on our hunters, not as a means of income for
our profit; our fines are set in ensure the safety of
each hunt and to help aid our Wildlife Management
Program, so that each hunter will have an equal
opportunity to harvest a "trophy" on their
hunt, either this season or another season in the
future.
If your hunt includes meals; breakfast consists of
doughnuts, fruit, cereal, juice and/or coffee before
your morning hunt. After your morning hunt, lunch wil be
provided, soup or chili and sandwiches. After the
afternoon hunt, a good, hot southern dinner.
*Check in after 5:00 pm on the day before your hunt,
meals begin on your first day of hunting.

yards depending on which stand the hunter selects.
